Round Piazza

The trompe l’oeil effect in this case, is obtained thanks to the treatment made on the surface, scratched away by using the antique Acquaforte technique.This leaves the stone withits natural appearance on some parts, while ho/lowing and reducing the thickness of the stone in other parts. We have a/so introduced the colour white (typica/ of the lime-painted buildings of the Mediterranean architecture), where the story we wanted to evokeneeded it.This has been done respecting the stone and the tradition,but taking the freedom tomakethe signs,techniques and stories  contemporary.
